Central Park-Boquete (Bo ke tae)

30 Nov

Took some pictures of the central park in town. It had been seriously remodeled since we were here in Sept. 2011. New fountains, planters, and many flowers. Very nice and quite active during the days. This day a performer was working the crowd off to one side. He was entertaining and drew a large following while I watched. In January the town is filled to capacity and beyond for an annual flower festival. That is the ‘peak’ of summer (dry season) here. The fairgrounds is the center of activity for all that and we’ll get some photos during that time. I know there’s a lot of video stuff on YouTube about it too for anyone interested.
