Dinner with The Kent’s

16 Dec

On Saturday the 9th, David and Cora Kent, our hosts, invited all of us (the renters of the apartment and both Casitas) to a dinner in their home. It is very large and beautiful. Here are some pictures (click to enlarge):

Yolanda and Heinz were quite interesting to talk to. Heinz speaks several languages fluently, has worked (and earned money he says) in 15 countries, including Kuwait, Saudi, Yugoslavia, Switzerland, and other South American, African, and Asian countries.

Cora said this is the first time they have used the chapel for a dinner. It was cozy but worked quite well. She and David had already setup the tables, and we guests grabbed some of the food, etc., and carried it down to dine.

After dinner we returned to the kitchen to visit while Cora prepared a delightful dessert.
